FiberLAST attended Photonics West 2015

From 10 to 12 February 2015, San Francisco (USA) has become a central point for optics and photonics society.
The international exhibition focuses on various topics related to photonics and lasers. Due to 2015 International Year of Light SPIE’s Photonics West aimed its focus on 3D printing and neurology.
1250 manufacturers, research centers and suppliers presented its sophisticated products and services.

FiberLAST for the third time successfully presented its products at Photonics West in San Francisco.

The aim of our participation has been fulfilled completely, achieving the purposes of the mission. Pulsed Fiber Lasers Modules have been presented for various industrial applications and integration. […]

Development of a picosecond pulsed mode-locked fiber laser | Abstract

Fiber lasers represent the state-of-the-art in laser technology and hold great promise for a wide range of applications because they have a minimum of exposed optical interfaces, very high efficiency, and are capable of exceptional beam quality. In the near future, the most important markets such as micromachining, automotive, biomedical and military applications will begin to use this technology. The scope of this thesis is to design and
develop a short picosecond pulsed fiber laser using rare-earth doped fiber as a gain medium. The proposed master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) will be used to generate pulses with high repetition rates.
In this study, first we explain the basic […]
